The EORI code in Romania is issued by the General Directorate of Customs.
What are the necessary documents to obtain the EORI code?
The necessary documents to obtain the EORI code are the following:
A. The company’s registration certificate issued by the Trade Registry (COPY).
B. Registration certificate for VAT purposes issued by the Ministry of Public Finance, as the case may be (COPY).
C. The documents showing the company’s headquarters, if the address of the headquarters does not correspond to the one written on the certificate of registration of the company (COPY).
The articles of incorporation of the company updated with the latest changes (COPY).
How long does it take to obtain the EORI code?
The EORI code is obtained most of the time on the spot, after completing the request to obtain it in the IT system of the General Directorate of Customs.
